May 2018
May is the Month the Church Dedicates to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary
Regina Cæli
Lætare.
(To be prayed from Easter Sunday to Trinity Sunday instead of the Angelus)
Triumph, O Queen of Heaven, to see, Alleluia,
The sacred Infant born to thee, Alleluia:
Spring up in glory from the tomb, Alleluia:
O by thy prayers prevent our doom, Alleluia.
℣. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary! Alleluia
℟. Because our Lord is truly risen, Alleluia.
Let us pray.
O God, who, by the resurrection of thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ, has vouchsafed to gladden the world, grant, we beseech thee, that, by the intercession of the Virgin Mary, his Mother, we may receive the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
